Bumps and grooves are a gimick

The flat areas are supposed to be like the palm of a masseur, the lines like the
fingers and bumps like the fingertips but in use it feels like a generic foam
roller. It works good for me as it's pretty stiff but don't expect anything
special from the patterns in the foam.
