Small to tiny split shots a boon for finesse fishing

If you don't like dumping toxic lead into your favorite fishing pond -- or if
fishing regulations don't allow you a choice -- these hard-to-find
small-to-micro size crimp sinkers are excellent. They don't have quite as much
"sink" as lead, so crimp on more as needed. Tin crimps more firmly than lead,
staying where you place it. These are just what you want for finesse fishing
trout or panfish. Placing one or more tiny shots just ahead of your bass
"plastic worm" can give excellent depth control between languishing near surface
water and a deep-dive into the weeds.
