The Hogue Mauser 98 Military and Sporter Actions Pillar Bed Stock features a drop in fit for a "sporterized" M98 large ring Mauser. It will expressly drop-in fit virtually all M98 trigger mechanisms factory or aftermarket with no modifications. Th barrel channel will free float most #2 and #3 taper barrels. Stock relieved for bent down or bent down and swept back bolt handles. The straight military bolt handles will also function in stock. The floor-plate is cutout for shorter FN floor-plates without lock screw on front tang. The floor-plate inlet is relieved for a push-button style hinging box magazine door. The screw hole spacing for floor plate/trigger guard is 7 13/16" center to center.

Really comfortable and well made stock! Fits my 6’ 1 frame perfectly too! I am building a Mauser shooter to target and plink with and the stock lines up nicely for a terrific cheek weld for me! Glad that I added this stock to my rifle. I have all the other brands of sporters and this ranks well in my opinion.
