This, a reflective survival poncho, and a lighter could easily save your life!

Beeswax has much more (?1.6? X? I will revise when verified) heat output than paraffin PLUS its non toxic. If you are in the wilderness and get injured, hopelessly lost, and/or exhausted the THREE items in headline could save your life! A bearded Alaskan guy actually put thermometers inside and outside while he crouched down with his back to a tree and tested it and I was amazed (Ill post link later). Your amazing abilities to carve an Atlatl and spear from an Esse arrowhead; and your ability to weave a fish/bird net will be TOTALLY USELESS if you don't survive the first night!!! PLUS, this trio encourages one to do the 99% of the time BEST thing there is to do in real survival especially if injured-1-stay put, 2-stay visible (orange poncho), and 3-conserve energy. This candle can also be used to fire starting, heating water. poncho can also be used for rainwater collection/flag signalling... The best trio to BASE a survival kit upon!

Wanted for emergencies

A bit pricey. Wanted for emergencies or when camping.
Bee's wax candles are the way to go. They burn hotter, longer no toxic fumes and safe for indoor/outdoor use.
You get what you pay for.

It did a good job of helping heat the inside of my car during a storm

Good for an overnight, but doesn't last long enough for more than that. I might ad a second one to my kit as a back up.
